What is Tamara?
Tamara is a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) payment service that allows you to split your purchase into 3 or 6 interest-free installments.
How does installment payment work?
It's simple!
We divide your total purchase amount into 3 or 6 installments. The first installment is paid at the time of purchase, and the remaining installments are automatically scheduled over the following 2 or 5 months, depending on the installment plan you choose.
Are there any interest charges or fees?
No.
You pay exactly the same price as the product—with no interest or additional charges. Tamara earns its revenue through service fees charged to the merchant, not the customer.
How long does the purchase process take?
It only takes a few moments—just like any other online purchase.
All we need is:
- Your mobile phone number
- A valid payment method, such as mada, Visa, Mastercard, or Apple Pay
Will the payment be charged or held at the time of purchase?
No payment will be charged without your authorization.
How do I make my payments?
You make your installment payments through the Tamara app or website—not directly to the store.
Simply log in using the same mobile number you used during checkout. You can then pay using whichever payment method is most convenient for you:
- mada
- Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard)
- Apple Pay
- Bank Transfer
What happens if I miss a payment?
A late payment fee of SAR 25 per month will apply, up to a maximum total of SAR 150.
We encourage you to pay on time, and we'll send you reminders after your purchase and before your payment due date.
